"Los Gatos Ferrari"...on the ocasion of my buying
the LASTEST...BESTEST Ferrari EVER....a white on white BB 512
( actually the LAST one they ever made ! 83 )

Enzo Ferrari ..almost to his "deathbed" insisted...

a "Ferrari" IS...a 12 cylinder CAR...painted...RED

they also used to NOT "race"...saying.......?

"Why should we ...we ALWAYS pre-sell ALL the cars we can make" !

so once "production" outstripped sales.......

Enzo ..deliverd 3 512's...to the Berlinetta Brothers

to set UP...for "racing" !

when they were delivered..the HEADS ...were painted...RED...hence the term
"Testa Rosa" !!!! ( NO I'm NOT making this UP ! )


he tells me....prompted by the "unusual WAY" and "financing" by
which I got mine....Via Video years...sold it to help "finance" NPS

it's about Jimmy Treybig...the "founder" of Tandem Computers
( Jimmy "addresses" the AEA dinner gathering
  Welcome men,women, husbands and wives....AND...spouse equivalents" ! )

SO,,,Jimmie and his CFO...as a "decompression" from the "gruel" of taking Tandem "public"  go up to the Delta...fishing for a week or more....

come back...having drunk WEEKS of beer. ?..no showers ?..or shaving.....?

in dirty T-Shirts and blue jean "cut-offs".......

proceed to buy a case of beer...
sit down on the grassy lot across the street from LGF
( not there any more )

naturally they "attracted" ...attention......?
PARTICULARLY .. when they "polished" OFF the case of brews....
proceeded to walk across the street...
and EACH climber into a Ferrari......

naturally...when Brian and his sales staff as "backup" came out to the lot.....
BOTH of them pull out a "gigantic" WAD... of ...bills..
and each asks..."so waddya want for this car" ?

the NOT part...well the Founder of Eagle Computers...same store !
the very DAY that Eagle computers went "public" .....
buys a new Ferrari...has his... "Yacht Broker" with him.....
just a few miles away...on the "upper" road around the lake in Los Gatos....
Flips IT...and KILLS them BOTH !
