how the WHATEVER
CAN they dive so deep
repeatedly ?

also ... from a "physics" 
point of view
is is NOT POSSIBLE
for a dolphin
to be ":able" to swim
as FAST as they DO
( but they don't know that and go ahead an DO it anyway ! hee hee )

it turns out...the 'magik" 
is in the nerves in their skin
which "flex" instaneously
thus "eliminating" most induced drag
( the "eddies" you see in the water when YOU swim )

tried to build a "flex-skin" submarine
using a LOT of hydraulic rams
pushing against the hull
YIKES !
