in the NYC Tower Records store
I think it was later 1982 or early 1983

out of the corner of my right eye I
"detect" a rather tall figure in a brown Tweed winter coat
with hair that people referred to as a "JEwish AFRO" !
Really they DID Liam Sternberg and his sister had HUGE ones
the "size" of OJ's in Police Squad where he can't get through the DOOR

he "overshot" the row he was after and bumped into me
and I said what I usually SAY
"That's OK, just don't let it happen AGAIN"
when I realized who he was
he asked me
"How come we are the ONLY TWO shopping for CD's"
and I answered
"Nobody owns a player" !
He asks why then do I have one and I mention
"I'm from Silicon Valley"
he asked me what I did, etc...
