OK...on a Monday afternon..I get a call from Ralph..
"Brian, all THREE of our deposit bags from Friday,Saturday,and Sunday
are "missing' from Harvard Trust....totalling over $ 275,000
yet each deposit, involved 6 'different" people
all of whom we've already polygraphed....

SO...what do you think might have happenned.....?

so I immediately went over to 33 Dunster street...
and Ralph and I got on the phone to Harvard Trust
THey had a VP and teller...open the vault in the morning Monday
write down eachbag nubmer and then open and "tally" their contents

we make an "immediate" trip over to the bank...BUT
they will NOT allow me to inspect the vault/chute from that end...
so I "focused" on the Mosler Deposit "chute" on the outside of the bank

When I first started working with Ralph/Molly
( NO you are NOT "allowed" to have a job while at the Harvard Biz Skewl....
  I had 2.."includeing" our "Record Company with Dave Nodiff...called "Portasound"  my wardrobe from Hawaii....was ALL "Aloha Shirts")

Earlier Ralph had me "Sit in" on the "Bar-spotters" report....
as they KNEW they were geting "ripped off" by someone.....

BS...says...."HE always cashed out the pre-checks at the back bar on either the register on the lft or on the right........nobody says anytihing.....but I ask.....

"WHAT ...register on the left of the back bar" ?

BOTH the BS and Ralph are almost "indignant" at my question...
SO...I make them and Molly get up an SHOW ME

to the left of the bar...to ALL their "astonishment" there IS NO "register" !!!!!

but there is a bunch of mops/brooms...leanting there in from of a mirrored door/closet....I go behind the bar to open it...but it's locked
neither Molly r Ralph have the key...takes 1/2 hr to find one....

when opened..>THERE IT IS !!! Not JUST a "register" it's on a wheelaround "Hunka" wood..that when you roll it OUT "fits"...EXACTLY......looks LIKE
it "extends" the BAR !!!!!

BINGO...that "Night Manager" when I looked at his background....
was an MIT Mechanical Engineer..,
