we incorporated as a 501(c)3 however that means the overhead in handing out money on the street asking people to sign a receipt does NOT make sense....
plus periodically doing "battle" with the government to retain tax empt status is counter-productive
most of you who will be sending money from your existing 501(c)3 do NOT NEED us to be tax-exempt
SO for now we declare we are NOT "tax exempt 501(c)3" and will pay takes on contributions
simpler and more "dignified" to the recipients
our key project right now is a different kind if "shelter"
the plan is to buy distressed homes that we employ the homeless to fix up and then live in.

even today I have Job 1 Music UHQ format for creating MP3 CD's ( "Ultra High Quality" ) 500 K "sample rate" @ 1 Meg per minute of play 128 K takes 2 Megs per min 196 K takes 3 Megs per minute of play
it also mean even at that rate I can put approximately 200 of those UHQ Mp3's on ONE CD !
MP3 was "conceived and created" when I "interfaced"... Dolby Labs on the web
I have 2 really funny stories in involving LucasFIlms "( gotta SEE their "Starwars Numa Numa Dance" ! ) where my "relationship" goes back to the "inception" of Via Video and Dick Shoup the "Creator" of "SuperPaint" at Xerox and Alvy Ray Smith at Lucasfilms when we brought up the first Via Video NTSC encoder prototype at KRON in SFO Dave Claybaugh from Cincinati Ohio built the "prototype" at age 23 he built his first Color TV as a Christmas present for his Parents at age 10 !!! ( NO, I'm NOT making this UP ! )
